With expertise in B2B sales, CRM management, and strategic planning, he has a proven track record of increasing revenue, expanding market share, and leading organizations through successful transformations.
Since 2020, Mark has served as Vice President of Sales at CemSites, where he has overseen sales strategy, client growth, and revenue development for the company’s industry-leading cemetery and funeral home management solutions. Under his leadership, CemSites has achieved consistent year-over-year growth, while maintaining strong customer relationships and loyalty. His approach with prospects and clients is centered on creating a clear return on investment and generating incremental sales revenue, leveraging key CemSites modules such as the Sales Module, Online Memorialization, and Accounts Receivable tools to showcase the real value of both the product and the partnership.
Mark is known for his hands-on, collaborative leadership style, mentoring his team, empowering partners, and working side by side with clients to ensure their success. Outside of work, he is passionate about his music with The Letter Black, cherishes time with his wife and kids, and is deeply involved in his church community.

Since 2020, Mike has served as Vice President of Operations at CemSites, where he oversees day-to-day operations, client implementations, and project execution for the company’s industry-leading cemetery, funeral home, and crematory management solutions. Under his leadership, CemSites has delivered streamlined implementations, improved client outcomes, and scaled operational processes to support the company’s consistent year-over-year growth.

Douglas Sesar – Chief Technology Officer

Douglas Sesar serves as the Chief Technology Officer of CemSites, where he leads the vision, development, and innovation of the company’s technology solutions. With a strong background in software architecture and systems integration, Douglas has been instrumental in building CemSites’ all-in-one platform for funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematories.
As CTO, Douglas oversees product development, infrastructure, and security, ensuring that CemSites delivers reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software to the deathcare industry. He played an integral role in designing and building not only the Enterprise Software (Cemetery Record Management), but also Last Rites (Funeral Home Software), and Pyre (Crematory Software). His leadership combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to empowering CemSites’ clients through modern, integrated solutions that simplify operations and drive long-term growth.

David Berger – Interim President, CemSites

David serves as Interim President of CemSites, bringing over 15 years of executive leadership experience in the death care market—a field where trust, innovation, and operational excellence are essential. Having led organizations through complex transitions and significant growth, David brings a unique perspective on how technology can transform industries that balance sensitivity with service.
David’s background has equipped him with the expertise to scale operations, lead teams through transition, and deliver solutions that create lasting value for customers. In 2012, he founded We Fund Funerals and later sold the business to Express Funeral Funding, part of The Messenger Company portfolio. As an executive at Express Funeral Funding, David advanced the company’s growth by expanding its product offerings and securing long-term contracts with key accounts.
At CemSites, David brings this experience and business acumen to enhance execution, foster cross-team collaboration, and strengthen the company’s ability to deliver the software innovations clients rely on. His priorities include investing in employee training, streamlining operational processes, and allocating capital toward platform enhancements that will drive CemSites’ next stage of growth.

A Message From Our Founder
My passion is to empower people through technology. When I started this venture over a decade ago, I was helping other sectors, like churches and first responders. Once I started working with local cemeteries, I was hooked!
There is such an overwhelming need for improvement and a gap in technology in the cemetery industry that I knew this would be an exciting, wild ride and an area in which I could help immensely! Our WebSync tool connects the local community to Cemetery through online interactions. Our AR Finance Module helps streamline the entire billing cycle for the Deathcare Industry. Our inventory tracking ensures that a cemetery will never sell the same space twice.
Since launching CemSites in 2012, we’ve helped cemeteries both large and small, and we’ve helped people who were technologically challenged as well as those who are very tech-savvy. Regardless of the client’s situation, it’s always a joy to see the lightbulb come on when they see how much we can truly improve their processes and their day-to-day lives.
